lipi.ai Font License Terms

These terms explain how you can use fonts exported from lipi.ai. By purchasing, downloading, installing, embedding, or using an exported font, you agree to these terms.

1) Definitions

  • Get Myst OU ("we", "us", "our") operates lipi.ai.
  • Font means the exported font files provided by lipi.ai (for example: TTF, OTF, WOFF2) and any included specimen files.
  • Font ID means the unique identifier assigned to an exported Font.
  • Buyer means the person or legal entity that purchases a license.
  • Creator means a user who lists a Font for sale on the lipi.ai marketplace.
  • Marketplace means the lipi.ai font marketplace.
  • Embed means including or packaging the Font within a website, app, software, game, document, or product so it can be used to render text.

2) What you are purchasing

When you purchase a license, you are purchasing rights to use a specific exported Font output. You are not purchasing ownership of lipi.ai software, models, or generation methods.

Your purchase includes access to the Font files and a license certificate that references the Font ID.

3) License Options

A) Marketplace Share License (Non-Exclusive)

License grant.

Get Myst OU grants the Buyer a non-exclusive, worldwide, commercial license to use the Font, as long as the Buyer follows these terms.

Permitted use.

You may use the Font in:

  • logos, branding, marketing materials, packaging
  • print and digital designs
  • videos, social content, and advertisements
  • documents such as PDFs, ebooks, and presentations

Web embedding allowed.

You may embed the Font on websites, including by self-hosting webfont files (for example WOFF/WOFF2) or using a web kit, for any number of pageviews and domains.

App embedding allowed.

You may embed the Font in apps, games, software, and devices, including distribution through app stores and marketplaces, for unlimited installs.

Team use.

The Buyer may share the Font internally with employees and contractors working on the Buyer's projects.

Restrictions.

You may not:

  • resell, repackage, sublicense, or redistribute the Font files as a standalone font product
  • upload the Font files to a public font library, public repository, or free download site
  • claim exclusive rights to the Font
  • use the Font name or Get Myst OU / lipi.ai branding to imply endorsement by Get Myst OU

Marketplace listing.

If you purchase this license for a Font that is listed in the Marketplace, you acknowledge that Get Myst OU may continue to sell the same Font to other buyers.

B) Full Ownership License (Exclusive Buyout)

License grant.

Get Myst OU grants the Buyer an exclusive, worldwide, commercial license to use the Font.

Permitted use.

You may use the Font for any purpose, including:

  • logos, branding, packaging, marketing, and advertising
  • websites and web assets (including web embedding)
  • apps, games, software projects, and devices (including app embedding)
  • print, video, and merchandise

Modification.

You may modify the Font and create derivatives for your own use.

Transfer.

The Buyer may transfer the Font to one legal entity (for example, the Buyer's end client or the Buyer's company). After transfer, the receiving entity becomes the license holder.

Exclusivity promise.

After an Exclusive Buyout is completed, Get Myst OU will not resell or re-list the exact purchased Font file identified by its Font ID.

What exclusivity does not mean.

  • We do not guarantee the Font is globally unique.
  • Exclusivity applies to the specific Font output you purchased (identified by Font ID). It does not transfer ownership of lipi.ai technology, models, or processes.

4) Marketplace revenue share (Creators only)

If you list a Font in the Marketplace, you agree to the following:

  • Revenue share: 70% to the Creator and 30% to Get Myst OU, based on the net amount received after refunds and payment processing fees.
  • Payouts: payouts are issued monthly once your balance reaches $50.
  • Refunds: refunded orders are deducted from your earnings.
  • Listing control: Get Myst OU may remove a listing if it violates these terms or if we receive a credible infringement complaint.

Creators are responsible for taxes, reporting, and providing any required payout information.

5) Similarity and clearance

Fonts generated by lipi.ai may share stylistic similarities with existing typefaces. Get Myst OU does not provide legal advice. The Buyer is responsible for any trademark, branding, or legal clearance needed for brand-critical uses.

6) Term and termination

Your license lasts for as long as you comply with these terms. If you breach these terms, your license terminates automatically and you must stop using the Font and delete all copies of the Font files.

7) Refunds

Because Fonts are digital goods, refunds are generally not offered once the files have been delivered. Refunds may be provided if the files are not delivered or are technically defective.

If a Marketplace purchase is refunded, any related Creator revenue share will be reversed.

8) Warranty and liability

The Font is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Get Myst OU's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Font license. Get Myst OU is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
