These terms explain how you can use fonts exported from lipi.ai. By purchasing, downloading, installing, embedding, or using an exported font, you agree to these terms.

1) Definitions

  • Get Myst OU ("we", "us", "our") operates lipi.ai.
  • Font means the exported font files provided by lipi.ai (for example: TTF, OTF, WOFF2) and any included specimen files.
  • Font ID means the unique identifier assigned to an exported Font.
  • Buyer means the person or legal entity that purchases a license.
  • Creator means a user who lists a Font for sale on the lipi.ai marketplace.
  • Marketplace means the lipi.ai font marketplace.
  • Embed means including or packaging the Font within a website, app, software, game, document, or product so it can be used to render text.

2) What you are purchasing

When you purchase a license, you are purchasing rights to use a specific exported Font output. You are not purchasing ownership of lipi.ai software, models, or generation methods.

Your purchase includes access to the Font files and a license certificate that references the Font ID.

3) License Options

A) Marketplace Share License (Non-Exclusive)

License grant.

Get Myst OU grants the Buyer a non-exclusive, worldwide, commercial license to use the Font, as long as the Buyer follows these terms.

Permitted use.

You may use the Font in:

  • logos, branding, marketing materials, packaging
  • print and digital designs
  • videos, social content, and advertisements
  • documents such as PDFs, ebooks, and presentations

Web embedding allowed.

You may embed the Font on websites, including by self-hosting webfont files (for example WOFF/WOFF2) or using a web kit, for any number of pageviews and domains.

App embedding allowed.

You may embed the Font in apps, games, software, and devices, including distribution through app stores and marketplaces, for unlimited installs.

Team use.

The Buyer may share the Font internally with employees and contractors working on the Buyer's projects.

Restrictions.

You may not:

  • resell, repackage, sublicense, or redistribute the Font files as a standalone font product
  • upload the Font files to a public font library, public repository, or free download site
  • claim exclusive rights to the Font
  • use the Font name or Get Myst OU / lipi.ai branding to imply endorsement by Get Myst OU

Marketplace listing.

If you purchase this license for a Font that is listed in the Marketplace, you acknowledge that Get Myst OU may continue to sell the same Font to other buyers.

B) Full Ownership License (Exclusive Buyout)

License grant.

Get Myst OU grants the Buyer an exclusive, worldwide, commercial license to use the Font.

Permitted use.

You may use the Font for any purpose, including:

  • logos, branding, packaging, marketing, and advertising
  • websites and web assets (including web embedding)
  • apps, games, software projects, and devices (including app embedding)
  • print, video, and merchandise

Modification.

You may modify the Font and create derivatives for your own use.

Transfer.

The Buyer may transfer the Font to one legal entity (for example, the Buyer's end client or the Buyer's company). After transfer, the receiving entity becomes the license holder.

Exclusivity promise.

After an Exclusive Buyout is completed, Get Myst OU will not resell or re-list the exact purchased Font file identified by its Font ID.

What exclusivity does not mean.

  • We do not guarantee the Font is globally unique.
  • Exclusivity applies to the specific Font output you purchased (identified by Font ID). It does not transfer ownership of lipi.ai technology, models, or processes.

4) Marketplace revenue share (Creators only)

If you list a Font in the Marketplace, you agree to the following:

  • Revenue share: 70% to the Creator and 30% to Get Myst OU, based on the net amount received after refunds and payment processing fees.
  • Payouts: payouts are issued monthly once your balance reaches $50.
  • Refunds: refunded orders are deducted from your earnings.
  • Listing control: Get Myst OU may remove a listing if it violates these terms or if we receive a credible infringement complaint.

Creators are responsible for taxes, reporting, and providing any required payout information.

5) Similarity and clearance

Fonts generated by lipi.ai may share stylistic similarities with existing typefaces. Get Myst OU does not provide legal advice. The Buyer is responsible for any trademark, branding, or legal clearance needed for brand-critical uses.

6) Term and termination

Your license lasts for as long as you comply with these terms. If you breach these terms, your license terminates automatically and you must stop using the Font and delete all copies of the Font files.

7) Refunds

Because Fonts are digital goods, refunds are generally not offered once the files have been delivered. Refunds may be provided if the files are not delivered or are technically defective.

If a Marketplace purchase is refunded, any related Creator revenue share will be reversed.

8) Warranty and liability

The Font is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Get Myst OU's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Font license. Get Myst OU is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

9) Governing law and contact

Common questions about our license types and what you can do with fonts from lipi.ai.

Full Ownership License

Can I resell the font file as a standalone product?

No. The Full Ownership license grants you exclusive rights to use the font, but you cannot repackage and sell the font file (TTF, OTF, WOFF2, etc.) as a standalone font product. You can use it in any design, product, or application you create.

Can I rebrand the font and distribute it under a different name?

No. Redistributing the font files under a new name is not permitted. However, you may use the font freely in your own branding, products, and client work.

Am I able to sublicense the font to other people or companies?

The Full Ownership license allows you to transfer the license to one legal entity (e.g., a client or parent company). However, you cannot grant sublicenses that let third parties independently use or redistribute the font.

Does "exclusive" mean nobody else can generate a similar-looking font?

Exclusivity means we will not resell or re-list the specific font file you purchased (identified by its unique Font ID). We cannot guarantee that no other AI-generated or manually designed font will ever look similar. Stylistic similarity between typefaces is common across the industry.

Does lipi.ai retain any ownership or rights over the font after I buy the exclusive license?

After an exclusive buyout, you hold the license and we will not resell that font. You are not purchasing ownership of the underlying AI models or generation technology — only the specific font output.

Can I modify the font, add new glyphs, and sell products using the modified version?

Yes. The Full Ownership license explicitly allows you to modify the font and create derivative works for your own use. You can add glyphs, adjust spacing, change weights, and use the result in any product or project.

Are there restrictions on listing the font on third-party font marketplaces?

Yes. Even with the Full Ownership license, you may not upload the font to public font libraries, repositories, or free download sites as a standalone font product. Using it within your own products and designs is fully permitted.

Is the exclusivity legally binding, and do I receive proof of my exclusive rights?

Yes. These license terms constitute a binding agreement governed by Estonian law. Your purchase includes a license certificate referencing the unique Font ID, which serves as documentation of your exclusive license.

Can I use this font for client projects and hand off the files?

Yes. You may transfer the license to one legal entity, such as your client. After transfer, that entity becomes the license holder with all the same rights.

Is there a limit on how many apps, websites, or products I can use the font in?

No. The Full Ownership license has no limits on the number of projects, websites, apps, or products. Use it everywhere you need.

What happens to the font listing on lipi.ai after I purchase exclusivity?

We will delist the font and stop selling it. No new licenses for that specific font will be issued after your exclusive purchase.

Marketplace Share License

Can other people buy and use the same font I purchased?

Yes. The Marketplace Share license is non-exclusive, which means the same font may be sold to other buyers. If you need exclusivity, consider the Full Ownership license instead.

Can I use this font for commercial projects like logos, packaging, and ads?

Absolutely. The Marketplace Share license covers all commercial use — logos, branding, marketing materials, packaging, advertisements, social media content, and more.

Can I embed the font on my website or in a mobile app?

Yes. Web embedding (self-hosted WOFF/WOFF2 files) and app embedding (iOS, Android, desktop) are both included with no pageview or install limits.

Can my team or contractors use the font too?

Yes. You may share the font internally with employees and contractors who are working on your projects. They cannot use it for their own unrelated work.

Can I upload the font to a public repository or free font site?

No. Redistributing the font files on public font libraries, free download sites, or open repositories is not allowed under either license type.

Is there a limit on how many projects or domains I can use it for?

No. The Marketplace Share license covers unlimited projects, domains, pageviews, and app installs. One purchase covers all your use cases.

What's the difference between Marketplace Share and Full Ownership?

Marketplace Share is non-exclusive (others can buy the same font) and does not allow modification or transfer. Full Ownership is exclusive (we stop selling it), and you can modify the font and transfer the license to one entity.

Can I use the font in print products like books, merch, or posters?

Yes. Print use is fully covered — books, ebooks, PDFs, posters, merchandise, business cards, and any other printed materials.

Does the license expire?

No. Both license types are perpetual — they last for as long as you comply with the terms. There is no annual renewal or subscription.
